Age limit
The age of candidate must be lie between 21 to 38 years old. Reserved categories candidates will get age relaxation, according to government rules.
Educational Qualification
- The candidate must have a PG degree in Art-music/ Dance/Theatre Arts with at least 55% marks or equivalent grades from a recognized college Or
- Candidate must have a PG degree in visual arts or fine arts with at least 55% marks from a recognized university, NET/SLET/Ph.D. degree, and 1 year of experience illustration in textbooks/curriculum in different SCERT/NCERT or equivalent organization
- candidate must have a minimum 5 years of experience in teaching in Elementary/Secondary Schools/SCERT/TEI

Candidates who will recruited as assistant directors in the Directorate of the SCERT, Assam, will get a monthly salary from Rs 30,000 to 1,10,000 with grade pay of Rs 13,900 under the pay band. The selected candidates will also get the benefits of allowances such as HRA, DA, etc with a salary.
