PM Awas Yojana Eligibility Criteria

- PMAY- CLSS subsidy will not availed by the family of the beneficiary
- Beneficiary or his family should not get any Central assistance under the housing scheme earlier
- The family of the beneficiary and the beneficiary itself should not have a pucca house in the country

To get financial assistance under the PM Awas Yojana, you should meet the given criteria set by the scheme committee. The applicants have divided into the following 6 groups.
Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
- The annual household income must be up to 3 lakh
- Family members of the house of the applicant must not have pucca houses
- The applicant must have residential proof, income proof, and ID proof while apply for the PMAY scheme
Light Income Group (LIG)
- The annual income of a household ranges between 3 lakh to 6 lakh
- The applicant and his family members do not have pucca houses
- The applicant needs to submit their income proof, ID proof and residential proof
Medium Income Group (MIG1)
- The annual income of household ranges between 6 lakh to 12 lakh
- No pucca house has been own by the applicant and family members
- Beneficiaries can avail the loan subsidy of 4% on loans up to 9 lakh
- The loan tenure under the scheme is valid for 20 year
Medium Income Group (MIG2)
- The annual income of households ranges between 12 lakh to 18 lakh
- The applicant and his family members do not have pucca house
- The loan tenure under the PMAY scheme is 20 years
- The maximum loan subsidy is 3% on loans up to 12 lakh
- According to Census 2011, Statutory towns are eligible to get coverage under PM Awas Yojana
- Within the 3 years from the date of disbursement of 1st instalment, the construction or extension of the house should completed to get a loan
- The constructed house should be on the name of the female head or a joint name with the male head of the family and the wife

Steps to Check the PMAY Beneficiary List
If you are applied for the PM Awas Yojana, and waiting for the 1.2 lakh home construction aid, then you can check your name in beneficiary list. It is easy to check the beneficiary list on the website online by following the given steps.
- Open the PMAY official portal, https://pmaymis.gov.in/
- Next, go to the menu section of the homepage and choose the Avasoft option
- Now, tap on the ” report” option from the drop-down menu
- Next, you have to select “ H” Social audit reports
- Select the link that shows “Beneficiary Details for Verification.”
- Now, you have to enter your information, such as village, block, district and state.
- Next, fill in the captcha code and click on the submit option
- Now, the beneficiary list is open in front of you. You can check your name. If you see your name in the beneficiary list, it means you will get financial aid under the PMAY scheme, otherwise not.
