The department of Food technology is established in the year 2020 initially with Bsc Food technology with a great vision of being a center for development of science , technology , human resources and to develop technically sound technologist, scientist, researchers and entrepreneurs in the field of Food technology through quality education.

The Department of English was established in the academic year 2013-14 and MA English in the year 2022-23. The Programme was started with an expectation to develop an understanding of English Literature along with language skills. The students get acquainted with the different forms of literature like poetry, prose, fiction and drama. The courses offered enable the students to get exposed to advanced level of grammatical patterns and usages in English and also to enhance their communication skills.
